GLOG Classes: Beowulf!
This class is part of the "class as a story" trend, which already hosts such greats as the Impaler, Dr. Jekyll and Princess Goldmoon. I find this a pretty cool concept: you have heard that classes inform the world they are a part of, right? A world where you can play a wizard has magic, a world where you can play a Sorcerer has dragon fuckers. But the class a player chooses also tells you the fantasy they want to embody. ¿Why not bring this to the extreme? Make sure the player will live their fantasies, for better or for worse.

Beowulf
Backgrounds:
-You are the Beowulf, hero of the Geats, iseakaid into a different world after your death. Initially amnesiac, the more you relive your sotry the more you remember it, the more you realize you can escape the whirlpool of your Destiny.
-Fate is a funny force. An agent of change and stories, Fate has it's own style and you can often recognize it's agents by some recurring patterns.
-Infinite timneliness means infinite opportunities for coincidences, sometimes down to the smallest detail. Nothing binds you to your current path, you could take a different decision at any moment. But you won't. Not in this timeline.
A- In Media Res, Thirty in the Grip of each Hand, +1 to Hit, +1 Hp
B-Marked for Death, Swim back from Frisia, Survive the Hags hideous Strength, +1 to Hp
C-Bravery rewarded, Loyal Huscarls, +1 to Hp
D-Dragonsbane, +4 Hp
In Media Res
You are introduced into the story already doing your thing. No meeting your future allies in a tavern for you, instead you’re already following a trail or running from the guards or trying to find the rarest flower in the forest.
Whatever you are engaged in it should either be relevant to the plot or lead you to something relevant to the plot. It also means your character is more likely to have relevant information related to these elements (if you’re cool, consider using the Lore subsystem ).
This ability also activates after a timeskip; ¡you are always up to some shit!
The strength of thirty in the grip of each hand
You add [template] to damage with two handed weapons and whenever you reduce an enemy to 0hp or less you may “Cleave”: attack another enemy but instead of rolling damage deal the leftover damage from the first hit.
You never suffer any penalty to grappling due to the targets size.
Marked for Deah
Now everyone knows that you are a hero and react accordingly: by asking you for help with problems you are way underqualified to deal with. You always know the location a monster with higher HD than you and why it’s considered a menace (“I woke up and all my cows were torned up! Like, not just dead, torn up” or “Did you hear about the merchant caravan? They say there were no survivors and the wounds didn’t look like any a mortal weapon can deliver…”).
Swim back from Frisia
You gain swim speed and climb speed equal to your speed and can always Leap up to half your speed without rolling.
Survive the Hags hideous strength
After rolling to hit an enemy, instead of rolling for damage you may declare you deal the minimum amount. If you do, your enemy's next melee attack also deals the minimum amount of damage, and if they roll half your roll or less when attacking, you may immediately attack them as a free action.
Bravery’s reward
Through your deeds you have earned fame and fortune. If your Master is up for a domain game you earn lands or you earn a free building/upgrade for a building if you already have lands. Otherwise, either you gain a large amount of money or you constantly receive money from grateful townsfolk and nobles in love, enough to qualify as steady income.
Loyal Huscarls
You are entitled to your kingsguard. Select [template] characters you have fought with before; this may be PCs or NPCs, but be sure to ask for permission for the former. Huscarls gain the following:
-Huscarls are inmune to Morale or mental effects as long as they can see you and you don’t fall victim to the same effect. -Huscarls give you and other huscarls +1 Defense when you’re adjacent, up to +2. -When you Cleave, you may do it from the square of a huscarl within [template*5] feet (you inspire them with your might!).
Huscarls are expected to obey you, at least when in front of others.
Dragons bane
You deal and receive double damage from higher HD enemies. When you attack an enemy with higher HD you may declare it’s a critical hit without rolling; if you do, you will be dead or fatally wounded before the end of combat and no force can save you.
